Mike proudly discusses the 1,000+ acres and 50+ park sites managed by the Park District team, the behind-the-scenes action and “never stop improving” attitude and the evolution of a dry Wheaton to the wildly popular Brewfest and Cream of Wheaton that all come together to make such a successful Wheaton Park District. He fondly recalls how he began his career 40 years ago as a “parkee” and proudly describes the power of front-line, first-time jobs that teach valuable lifelong lessons that have jump started many careers and even led to a marriage or two.
